tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32455059281427015112011-10-14T21:50:30.483+01:00Alanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15603492066777318471noreply@blogger.comBlogger71100tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3245505928142701511.post-87173224656281589332008-05-17T20:53:00.006+01:002008-05-17T21:17:08.735+01:00Things have been happening in Stoneybridge land.<br /><br />Windmill is now whirling, chickens have been installed in 'Chickenopolis', and raised beds of the vegetable garden, constructed and filled - things are even growing!!!<br /><br />There is even an 'odd' shaped flower garden - not yet filled (give us time), and the weather has been marvellous.  Nearly all the trees and bushes that had to be transplanted because of the construction have survived, and apart from the water supply outside our fence being ripped up yesterday, by a JCB, everything in the world is rosy.<br /><br />To be truthful the Scottish Water were providing us with new water supply pipes when the contractor decided the water looked better on the surface. Having achieved this, they then 'knocked off' for the weekend after filling in the hole where the pipe was broken!!!!!!  Surprisingly....... yep!! it filtered to the surface during the night and we now have a scenic, artificial fountain to add to our flower garden.<br /><br />STOP PRESS!!!!  <br />Nammy has named the light brown chicken...wait for it....... Access holes have been bored through the workshop and house walls for the conduits, ready for the inverter installation. Hopefully next week.
