Update

Things have been happening in Stoneybridge land.

Windmill is now whirling, chickens have been installed in 'Chickenopolis', and raised beds of the vegetable garden, constructed and filled - things are even growing!!!

There is even an 'odd' shaped flower garden - not yet filled (give us time), and the weather has been marvellous.  Nearly all the trees and bushes that had to be transplanted because of the construction have survived, and apart from the water supply outside our fence being ripped up yesterday, by a JCB, everything in the world is rosy.

To be truthful the Scottish Water were providing us with new water supply pipes when the contractor decided the water looked better on the surface. Having achieved this, they then 'knocked off' for the weekend after filling in the hole where the pipe was broken!!!!!!  Surprisingly....... yep!! it filtered to the surface during the night and we now have a scenic, artificial fountain to add to our flower garden.

Nammy has named the light brown chicken...wait for it....... 'SHORTCAKE'!!!!!!

Only another 11 chickens to name now.

Windmill progress

Turbine base and cable routing completed, the quagmire has been levelled - now it's a squidgy squelchy level quagmire, as opposed to the moonscape. Access holes have been bored through the workshop and house walls for the conduits, ready for the inverter installation. Hopefully next week. With groundworks nearly complete the end is in sight...........ish!!!!

What's going on???

For some unknown reason, the web browsers don't work but I can still get to the blog. Scotnet home page says 'blacklisted'...why? Presumeably email works too, I'll try that next.

Windmill works are go!!!!

At last, this week has seen the start of the groundworks for the turbines.
The whole site looks like a moonscape, a very wet moonscape. Never seen so much yellow plant in such a small area, unless it's rapeseed !! More later....

Website update

Finished at last, will publish it tonight.  Just the shop to work on now, the shop is in place, it's just the photos and product write-ups to do, and the colour scheme to change, and the shipping to work out, and.....and.....

Oh well, best get working...;)

Web site update

Website build well under way now, Home pages and shop graphics completed. Still working on content (photography and write ups) for shop and pictures for gallery pages.

Hopefully, not too much to do now.
